Perfect fit for my 2013 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited!
I sought to install these on a 2016 2-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hardrock, with OEM hinges. One of my OEM tailgate hinge covers kept falling off because of broken tabs. I wasn't certain at first which brand of these I should buy to replace it. Reading the reviews, this one had the fewest bad reviews. So, I took a chance. Out of the box I tried to put one on and found the left tab was stressed too far as I tried to slide it on and snap it into place.Instead of forcing it and breaking the tab (it had already started to tear) I took the cover into my house and got out my epoxy. I used some plastic bonding glue to repair the tears.I then mixed up and used a layer of epoxy to reinforce the retaining tabs on both covers. Letting the epoxy dry for 24 hours I then tried to put the missing cover onto the Jeep. My reinforcement allowed me to put a bit more stress onto the cover as I installed it. This worked well and the cover snapped into place and holds tight. Rating this, then, is a bit complicated. Out of the box, I have to give this one star. Once modified and reinforced, I would give this five stars. Since it s the best overall, I would give this one more star. Thus all together, I would give this four stars.
I had to replace these as someone stole my originals of my Jeep. These were fast and easy to install.
Arrived fast. They look great but be careful with install. The tabs that are used to attach them are fragile and break easily. As long as your are carful, they should work fine.
